Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of 3-4 workers on a high-end private ranch
Varied ranch and estate responsibilities including:
- Lead land management and groundskeeping maintenance
- Accomplish light construction, building, and road projects
- Help with horses and registered Texas longhorn care
- Maintain barns and ranching equipment
Experience / Skills:
- Must have 10 years of prior ranch management, equestrian, or estate management experience
- Must have experience and physical ability to operate ranch and groundskeeping equipment, including livestock trailers & tractors
- Experience supervising ranch or groundskeeping crews strongly preferred
- Ability to work with third parties on high value projects, but also happy to mow a pasture or muck a stall when needed
- Experience caring for horses or cattle preferred
- Construction and/or welding experience preferred
- Must have ability to communicate well in English and have at least basic ability to communicate in Spanish
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug tests
- Must have strong, consistent work ethic with references from former positions
Salary: Up to $85,000 per year or $40/hour based on experience
