Buffalo Soldier Ranch
I have a unique set up in that I am open and flexible and willing to work with someone who can assist me on my ranch.
I am a single woman, own 6 acres in the mountains of San Diego in the town of Campo, Ca). Breathtaking views, peaceful and private property, animals welcome! Bring your horse, your dogs, your RV (you can reside on the property if you would like). CLEFF is next door with regular competitions, rodeos and there is an abundance of riding options near by.
I would love to find someone that has experience with training horses or at minimum, has the ability to feed, clean and turn them out with little supervision. Please be proactive and reliable with a keen eye for safety.
The barn is historic, dating back to the 1800's. It needs routine maintenance so it would be nice if you have basic handyman skills (put up lights, patch holes, paint, maybe an occasional trip to the store etc).
I can provide compensation a number of ways based on what your need is. You can live on the property, live in the master bedroom area of the house, work and live off site board your horse in exchange for work.
I am open and flexible and more than willing to assist with making this a great working relationship.
