Ranch Associate / Experienced Ranch Hand (Part-Time or Full-Time)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Ranch Associate/Ranch Hand to join our team on a beautiful remote ranch property 1.5 hours outside of Phoenix, AZ.
Position Details
- Part-time and full-time opportunities available
- Initial term of 90–120 days with potential for a long-term position
- On-site housing available
- Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience, responsibilities, and fair market value
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, tractors, and trailers safely and efficiently
- Perform property, road, and general ranch maintenance
- Assist with fire prevention and land management activities
- Support the care and handling of horses and cattle
- Complete assigned projects independently while maintaining regular communication with ownership team
Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy equipment and towing
- Knowledge of ranch operations, road maintenance, and fire prevention practices
- Experience working with horses and cattle
- Honest, dependable, and trustworthy
- Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent team player who can also work independently and manage daily priorities
