We are looking for a reliable and motivated Ranch Caretaker Couple team to manage many aspects of a privately owned Ranch.
Duties include:
- Upkeep of fencing, mowing, landscape, ranch buildings, and equipment as well as running errands as needed to support ranch activities and assisting the Ranch Manager.
- General maintenance and management of the interior and exterior of the residence, structures, and grounds.
- General repairs around the ranch and within the home.
- Clean and dust furniture, baseboards, windows, equipment, walls, etc.
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and/or hand scrub floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners.
- Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to owner.
- Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms and kitchen.
- Assisting with the care for animals on the ranch.
- Assisting with setup and teardown for events.
- Always keep property at guest ready level throughout the year.
- Organizing and managing contractors, supplies and inventory acquisition, and other special duties as assigned.
- Will assist in all areas of hospitality while working with the owner and/or other family members
Requirements:
- Physically fit to perform job duties, to include lift/carry, use of ladders and tools, etc.
- Ability to maintain good relationships within the community, guests, as well as the owner
- Experience living and working on a ranch hospitality work
- Must be able to safely operate a tractor, truck and other equipment including power and hand tools.
- Ability to work autonomously
