We are a family farm/ranch raising cow/calf pairs as well as dryland wheat, barley, and alfalfa. We are seeking an employee for all aspects of farm and ranch work including:
- feeding
- cattle health
- calving
- fencing
- horseback riding and/or ATV operation to gather and check cattle
- various farming duties depending on experience
- vehicle, equipment, and facilities maintenance
- driving semi truck
- range evaluation
- haying
A valid driver’s license is required.
We offer the opportunity for an individual to run some cattle along with ours and/or move into a cattle management position after a probation period in which the employee shows initiative, responsibility, and commitment.
This is a rural location with no cell service; we’re 150 miles away from Walmart. It’s seven miles to the nearest pavement or town, which is population 200 with a K-12 school and basic services.
Housing and utilities provided. Wage will be dependent on level of experience.
