Kite Cattle Company
Seeking outgoing and hard working individual who is knowledgeable in diverse aspects of ranching and farm labor in the Bull Mountains. Ideal candidate should be a self-starter and good communicator capable of taking direction while also thinking and working independently. We want someone who can become a meaningful part of our operation.
Successful candidates will be in possession of a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, and should possess basic computer skills.
Ranch/cattle: 60%
Farm/hay: 40%
Required:
- Feeding
- Cattle health
- Calving
- Fencing, barbed and electric
- ATV/UTV operation
- Horsemanship
- Flood irrigation
- Weed management
- Stock water maintenance and repair
- Experience with older equipment
- Various farming duties
- Vehicle, equipment, and facilities repair and maintenance
- Light welding
- Working outdoors for extended periods in all kinds of weather
Desired:
- AI and herd development
- Seasonal elk hunting development/oversight and hospitality management
- Entrepreneurial
