HELP WANTED – RANCH HAND / COWBOY

Nebraska Sandhills Ranch

Seeking an experienced, dependable ranch hand/cowboy for a full-time position on a cow/calf/yearling operation in the Nebraska Sandhills.

Duties Include:

• Care and management of cow/calf herd and yearlings
• Feeding cows as needed
• Monitoring and maintaining livestock water systems, including solar and windmill wells
• General ranch maintenance and upkeep
• Occasional assistance in the feedlot
• No farming required

Qualifications:

• Experience working cattle horseback
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Good horsemanship and cattle-handling skills
• Must provide 3–5 personal ranch horses (ranch horses not furnished)

Salary & Benefits:

• $45,000+ annual salary, depending on experience
• 3-bedroom home provided
• Utilities covered by employer
• ½ beef annually
• Work truck provided
• Health insurance available with employer paying a portion of the premium
