6,000 acre ranch running 350 pairs, 600 acres hay ground, in search of good ranch hand.
Ideally, this person would be able to take on the role of foreman overseeing a crew of 2-5 and could be raised to $50k or better, but must prove themselves as a worker and leader first.
The ideal candidate would be experienced in calving, haying, pivots, heavy equipment, welding, fencing, electrical, plumbing…. you name it.
However, these skills can be taught.
What we are really looking for is someone with a strong work ethic and a goal oriented mentality.
We need someone who wants to learn, or knows all aspects of modern ranching, but humble enough to shovel snow, do yard work, and muck shit if the need arises, and it will.
This could be a great long term position for someone that can prove themselves worthy of advancement.
Pay will be depending on experience, housing and utilities included.
Horse board of up to four head negotiable after a probationary period.
