- Assist in the day-to-day operations of an 800-head cattle ranch, including feeding, herding, and caring for livestock
- Maintain & repair fences, equipment, and structures
- Assist with breeding, calving, and general cattle health care
- Operate machinery such as tractors, ATVs, and other ranch equipment
- Help with general ranch duties as needed, such as irrigation, haying, and land maintenance
- Work closely with the ranch manager and other team members to ensure smooth ranch operation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on a cattle ranch preferred, not required. (We are willing to meet a candidate where they are if they show the right attitude)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor
- Comfortable around horses, cattle, mules, dogs, etc
- Team player with good communication skills
