Job Title: Ranch Hand & Event Support – SF Ranch

Location: Comanche, TX

About the Role

SF Ranch is seeking a dependable, hardworking Ranch Hand who is skilled in day‑to‑day ranch operations and can also assist with guest activities during ranch-hosted events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining ranch property, and is comfortable interacting with visitors in a friendly, professional way.

Key Responsibilities

Ranch Operations

• Handle and work cattle safely and efficiently, including sorting, moving, and basic care.
• Operate ranch equipment such as John Deere tractors, shredders, and utility vehicles and maintenance.
• Shred pastures, spray weeds, and assist with general land management.
• Perform fence repair and maintenance, including stretching wire, replacing posts, and identifying problem areas.
• Lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs. as needed for daily ranch tasks.
• Assist with general ranch upkeep, equipment checks, and seasonal projects.

Event Support

• Help set up and break down equipment, seating, décor, and activity areas for ranch-hosted events.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, welcoming manner; answer basic questions about the ranch and activities.
• Assist with demonstrations, tours, or hands-on activities when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment during events.

Qualifications

• Previous ranch or livestock-handling experience required.
• Ability to operate tractors and basic ranch machinery.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
