JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Daily care and management of cattle, including feeding, watering, and herd health monitoring
- Providing herd health care and vaccinations and asset tracking
- Operating farm equipment, and driving a truck
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Maintaining clean and organized facilities, house, shop, truck and equipment
- First year heifer calving season, branding, moving cattle, weaning, ultrasound testing and shipping
- Fence building and maintenance
- Corral building and maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with cattle & equipment
- Willingness to treat colleagues cordially and learn from team members
- Ability to work independently as well as with others
- Good communication and organizational skills
INCLUDED
- Pay – Salary DOE paid monthly
- Housing, Utilities, Internet, Cable TV, hay for two horses per household
- Limit of 2 dogs per household
- Provide feed for 2 horses
