Ranch Hand needed for north central Wyoming ranch.
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Ranch Hand to join our cow-calf and yearling operation. This position includes a variety of hands-on ranch duties, with additional responsibilities in haying and irrigation work. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, take direction well, and help keep daily ranch operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day care of cow-calf pairs and yearlings
- Handle livestock safely and efficiently
- Help with haying operations, including equipment operation and field work
- Support irrigation duties as needed
- Maintain fences, corrals, pens, and general ranch property
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Carry out other ranch tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in ranching, livestock care, haying, or irrigation preferred
- Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good livestock handling skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work long hours during busy seasons
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation:
- Pay commensurate with experience.
- Housing and ranch vehicle provided.
- 401K after 1 year of employment
