About Us
We are a family run horse ranch in West Texas. Not fancy — we do most of the work ourselves. It’s an older place, but it has everything we need: a few barns, a colt starting covered pen, cutting pen, an indoor arena and a rodeo arena.
Position Details
- Primary responsibilities include feeding, watering and cleaning stalls.
- Approximately 2–2.5 hours in the morning and 2–2.5 hours in the evening.
- Occasional additional tasks such as:
- Holding horses for farrier or vet visits
- Moving horses between pastures
- Preparing/riding horses for sale
- Heavy preference given to someone with colt breaking and starting experience.

Dogs and cats are welcome, and you’re welcome to bring a personal horse. - $1,500/Month Stipend
In addition to accommodations and a place for your animals/horses. - Flexible & Laid Back
This isn’t your typical 12+ hour a day ranch job. We are happy to work with you if you’d like to work off the ranch to supplement your income. - Additional Opportunities
There is enough time and flexibility for you to pick up work offsite and/or use the facility to take in outside horses to start or train.
