We are looking for ranch help on a family owned/operated cattle, wheat, and haying operation. We run around 300 pair of cattle as well as a small backgrounding lot for feeding our own calves. We try to do most everything cattle related by way of horseback. Considering we are a smaller operation however, the right applicant MUST be willing to do all kinds of work.
These types of work include but are not limited to:
Basic maintenance of equipment, light shop work, running equipment for feeding, haying, and harvest. Corral building, cleaning of feed storage areas and shops that we work in.
We are located in an Isolated area, so the right applicant is comfortable and has experience living away from cities and has experience living in rural areas. We also prefer the applicant to be alcohol free.
Salary is paid on a monthly basis and the pay depends on experience level. Housing is provided.
Requirements:
A little bit of experience with horses (hopefully colt training), cattle, and or farming is required to be accepted to this position.
Willingness to pitch in and help in anyway.
Able to work well with others or on your own.
