Hunter Lane Equestrian
Long term position available for a ranch hand at an active horse facility in Sonoma County near Santa Rosa. This is a working ranch, not a retirement ranch. Horse care (daily feeding and caring for the horses) Handyman – plumbing, electrical, concrete and carpentry repair work as well as building shade structures Landscaping (Mowing, weed eating and general upkeep of the property, irrigating horse pastures and residential areas) Must be able to drive a tractor for arena grooming, pasture mowing, and operate landscape machinery, and tools. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs unassisted and 120 pounds with assistance. Must be proficient in english (fluency not required). Must love horses and other animals, and be compassionate and empathetic towards animals and people. Must be flexible in time schedule, we try to stick to 8 hours per day with multiple breaks, but with occasional overtime, night work is very rare. Background check will be run. Housing and utilities and other benefits (health insurance, dental/vision insurance, TV and internet) available. Salary based on experience and skill set, but will be generous for a perfect fit.
