Job Description

An 800+ acre hunting and recreational ranch located on the scenic Willow City Loop is seeking a reliable, hardworking Ranch Hand to help maintain and improve daily ranch operations and overall property appearance.

The ranch is home to white-tailed deer, exotics, horses, longhorns, and a ranch dog. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good judgment, and the ability to work independently. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys long, productive days outdoors.

Primary Responsibilities

Ranch Operations (including but not limited to):

  • Brush control

  • Predator control

  • Fence checking and repairs

  • Road maintenance

  • Equipment maintenance

  • General ranch infrastructure upkeep

  • Filling wildlife feeders

  • Light mowing & weed eating

  • Feeding horses, cattle, and ranch dog

Requirements

  • Prior ranching experience required

  • Valid driver’s license (trailer hauling experience is a plus)

  • Confident operating equipment such as:

    • Skid steer

    • Tractor

    • Backhoe

    • Zero-turn mower

  • Dependable and punctual

  • Physically fit (must be able to lift up to 70 lbs)

  • Organized and maintains clean work habits

  • Ability to check on ranch and feed animals every other weekend
