The Mariposa Ranch, nestled in the stunning mountains outside Cody, WY, is seeking a dedicated Ranch Hand to join our team. As a Ranch Hand, you’ll be an integral part of our operation, assisting with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our private guest ranch. The ranch hand position is available May 1st- October 15th.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ranch work, including feeding and caring for livestock
- Assist with fencing repairs and maintenance
- Help with painting projects around the ranch
- Undertake yard work to maintain our beautiful grounds
- Provide general assistance and support to our ranch team
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to tackle a variety of tasks
- Experience with ranch work and livestock handling preferred
- Ability to operate basic ranch equipment and tools
- Knowledge of basic landscaping and maintenance practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
