Pollard Farms is progressive seedstock operation located in Waukomis, OK. Our operation has been in the ranching business for more than 30 years. This is an exceptional team that focuses on 2 major sales a year, with more than 1,000 head of cattle and over 6,000 acres. This fast-paced operation needs someone that is self-motivated, does not have a problem with long hours and has extensive experience with cattle.

Primary responsibilities:

Machinery operation and maintenance of farm and ranch equipment, including welding, driving trucks, and fencing.
Cattle handling, including sorting, moving, and working cattle with UTV.
Herd health, including treating cattle, tracking vaccine inventory, and communicating areas of concern with the team and our veterinarian.
Calving both heifers and cows out. Our operation starts calving in July and calves through march.
Cattle nutrition, including feeding in a feedlot setting during winter months and pasture management during summer months.
Breeding, including implementing AI protocols and monitoring natural service sires.
Other general ranch duties as assigned.
