We are looking for a hardworking, dependable Ranch Hand to help maintain a working cattle and whitetail deer ranch. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, taking care of animals, and keeping the land, equipment, and facilities in good shape.

The right person will be self-motivated, reliable, and willing to take on a variety of tasks each day. This job involves physical labor and working mostly on your own without constant supervision. You’ll help keep the ranch running smoothly by doing things like feeding animals, fixing fences, maintaining equipment, and helping with hunting and fishing when needed.

Work Schedule:

This position requires working Tuesday through Saturday each week. Sundays and Mondays are regular days off, unless otherwise needed.

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Feeding and caring for cattle, deer, and horses
  • Mowing, weed-eating, and keeping pastures clean
  • Fixing fences and basic welding
  • Doing general equipment maintenance and light repairs
  • Operating tractors and other heavy machinery
  • Clearing brush and maintaining trails
  • Helping with hay baling
  • Keeping lakes and ponds clean
  • Getting rid of pests like hogs, beavers, and otters

What We’re Looking For:

  • Comfortable working around animals and outdoors in all weather
  • Able to lift 90 pounds and do physical work all day
  • Experience with tools like chainsaws, mowers, tractors, etc.
  • Able to fix things and do basic maintenance on buildings and equipment
  • Willing to work hard, stay organized, and get the job done without being asked twice
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills

Extras That Are Helpful:

  • Comfortable riding and handling horses
  • Basic understanding of wildlife and game management
  • Familiar with basic ranch safety
  • Able to follow rules and guidelines around hunting and land use
  • Must be drug-free and pass a drug test
