Twodot Land & Livestock (TDLL) is seeking a seasonal Ranch Hand April to December, with possible opportunities for year round employment. TDLL is a 12,000 acre, holistically managed working cattle ranch located 9 miles south of Harlowton, MT.

The Ranch Hand would work directly with a team of two managers, and receive hands-on experience with a holistically managed cow-calf and grass finishing operation, including Holistic Planned Grazing, low-stress animal handling, herding, and biological monitoring.

Responsibilities would include: fencing (temp electric, building permanent electric, fixing existing fences), moving cattle every 1-3 days through intensive rotational grazing system, monitoring cattle health, monitoring grass/range health, ditch/tarp irrigating, maintenance of ATV’s and truck, sorting and selecting fats for harvest. While the ideal candidate would have on the ground experience in all these things, we primarily value good energy, open-mindedness and work ethic. A demonstrated interest or experience in sustainable agriculture and food production is a plus.
