Full time position on family owned commercial cattle operation located in coastal range hill of the Tri-Valley / East Bay area of California.
We run a cow/calf /stocker operation and a small horse boarding program. Looking for someone who has strong work ethic, is self-motivated, is adaptive and has a positive attitude.
Must be able to: Gather, process, and ship cattle. Job duties include daily feeding of cattle and horses, maintenance and repair of livestock water systems, building and repair of fences,and weed abatement.
Must be able to drive 3/4 ton truck with manual transmission, tow gooseneck trailers, and safely operate ATV in hills.
Horsemanship skills a plus as are basic farm mechanics.
