Looking to hire an experienced, dependable ranch hand & ranch hand manager to help maintain and operate a large property in Palestine, Texas.
Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a basic background check. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English is important.
Must know how to operate and maintain heavy equipment (tractor, backhoe, bulldozer, etc.) as well as being physically capable of handling the equipment.
A background in construction is highly recommended as well as experience in day to day handyman work/repairs around the ranch.
Core responsibilities include operating heavy ranch machinery, fence repairs, basic maintenance of equipment, land care (clearing and maintaining land, landscaping, maintain trails, etc.), handyman jobs, some work with cattle, basic construction, assist in helping with events, and working random tasks.
A salary, work truck, paid time off, and an option for health insurance will all be offered after a short probationary period is successfully done. Must be able to provide references.
