Sandland Ranch
Family owned ranch in south central ND looking for an individual to help calve 1000 head.200 heifers and 800 cows. We use 4 wheeler or side by side to tag calves.
We do a lot of feeding with a meyer feed wagon and loose hay with John Deere tractors and payloader. Would also have the option to stay and help in the summer fixing fence, doctoring calves mineral and putting up hay. We put up approx. 5000 round bales each year.
Job requires a valid Drivers License
Criminal background check I don’t care what you did in the past but you would be working with our young kids
No smoking
There is spotty cell service here and you would be required to leave your cell phone at home during working hours
We have a small furnished cabin perfect for a couple all utilities long distance and internet. Meat provided
We are looking for a responsible reliable self motivated individual that can work on his or her own. We are a family operation and take pride in the equiptment we have and try to maintain as we can.

To be honest this job is remote and people think they can live without their cell phone but most cant! Opportunity for movies and or Walmart is 70 miles away. There is a small town with a grocery, convenience store and a great school. You must like what you do! There is an opportunity to run your own cows if you so choose.
