Family cattle ranch located 9 miles from Livingston, Montana is looking for a dependable ranch hand starting June 1st, 2026. We are searching for someone who is motivated, hardworking, and willing to learn.
Job duties include:
- Fencing
- Working cattle
- Irrigating
- Operating tractors and ranch equipment
- General ranch maintenance
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must know how to ride a four wheeler
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
- Good attitude and willingness to work long hours when needed
- Experience around cattle and equipment preferred, but we are willing to teach the right person
Housing:
- 3-bedroom house available
- Preferably looking for a family, but willing to consider a single applicant depending on the situation
- Willing to board a horse, although this is not much of a horse operation and horses are mainly used only when needed or when time makes it more convenient
Located in a beautiful area with good hunting, fishing, and outdoor opportunities nearby.
Position starts June 1st, 2026.
