We are a family farm seeking help with basic and general farm work such as mucking out sheds, sweeping grain bins, fixing fences (mostly barbed wire), painting sheds, and helping as needed with cattle and grain production.
We would love to discuss your bringing your own horse along, as some cow work and fencing is better done on horseback. However, riding is only a small part of this job and there are lots of other tasks that don’t involve horses.
Although this is an entry level job, with mostly menial tasks done by hand, some form of farm or ranch experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be willing to cheerfully perform grubby tasks when needed, and will be comfortable riding horses and working around cattle; they will also be able to live in a remote location, take direction well, and work alone or with others.
Housing on site is possible with good references, but you will be responsible for your own housekeeping and meals.

⚠️ Please note: this is not a guest or “dude” ranch and this is *not* a management position. Salary is paid once monthly and depends on experience.
