Ranch Hand Wanted – Idaho Wilderness Cameron Outfitters

Hard-working ranch hand needed for remote Idaho wilderness operations.

Position: Full-time Ranch Hand Location: Idaho backcountry / wilderness areas

Key Responsibilities:

  • Long hours in the saddle
  • Packing in backcountry camps (stringing, loading, and managing pack strings)
  • Horse training
  • General ranch and wilderness work as needed

Requirements:

  • Solid horse experience required (must be comfortable riding and handling horses in rough terrain for extended periods)
  • Ability and willingness to work long days in the saddle
  • Experience or strong aptitude for packing and horse training preferred
  • Physically fit, reliable, and ready for remote wilderness conditions

This is real outdoor work in beautiful but demanding country. Ideal for someone who thrives on horseback and doesn’t mind long days away from town.
