SD Farm & Stables
This position is all-encompassing and includes day-to-day life on our Gypsy Cobb farm with the main focus of riding, grooming, and exercising the horses. It also includes working with other animals on the farm such as dogs and cats, as well as occasional overnight pet-sitting/house-sitting when the owner is traveling for work.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Care of Horses (Experienced Rider & CareTaker is Essential)
- General upkeep of the farm
- Giving shots, grooming, harnessing & driving horses
- Occasional overnight pet-sitting/housesitting while the owner travels for work
Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced horse riding (You MUST be an experienced rider who enjoys horseback riding)
- Grooming
- Foaling
- Handling stallions
- Operating farm equipment (MUST be able to drive a tractor)
Please Note: In the part-time position you’ll be working 8 hours Saturday and Sunday, and 8 hours one day of the week of your preference.
In the Full-Time position, you’ll be working Monday-Friday 8 hours a day.
Job Types: Full-time and Part-Time work available
Salary: $125.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate: Tonganoxie, KS 66086: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Equine experience: 1 year (Required)
