About Saddleback Ranch
Saddleback Ranch is a family-owned guest ranch just outside Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We pride ourselves on offering authentic Western adventures year-round—from horseback rides and guided snowmobile tours to a winter tubing hill—all while upholding the values of hard work, teamwork, and hospitality.
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated individual or couple to join our team as All-Around Ranch Hands. At least one applicant must hold, or be willing and able to obtain, a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement to drive guest shuttles. This role blends guest service, outdoor adventure, and hands-on ranch work, making it ideal for someone who loves variety and the Western lifestyle.
What You’ll Do (Key Duties)
- Horseback Rides – Saddling, guiding rides, caring for horses, and assisting guests.
- Winter Operations – Supporting snowmobile tours & tubing hill (equipment checks, safety briefings, guest help).
- Guest Transportation – Driving shuttles safely to and from ranch activities (CDL required or willingness to obtain).
- Ranch Chores – Feeding livestock, fencing, maintenance, and seasonal projects.
- Guest Service – Delivering a safe, fun, and memorable experience every day.
Qualifications
- ✅ Class B CDL with passenger endorsement required for at least one applicant, or willingness and ability to obtain it.
- ✅ Prior experience in ranch work, livestock handling, or hospitality helpful but not required.
- ✅ Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
- ✅ Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- ✅ Positive, people-friendly attitude and strong teamwork skills.
