Two positions available. One is a paid ranch hand position and the other is an unpaid internship. Ideal candidate will have Ranch and Horse experience, no heavy drinking/no drugs/no smoking-vaping/no recovering addicts. Must be hard-working team player who can take direction. Must be willing to work long hours in all-weather if needed. Respectful and co-operative disposition, good physical stamina, outstanding work ethic and communication skills, flexible, adaptive, work independently and with others, detail oriented. Follow directions and always adhere to facility standards. Loves animals! Puts the care and safety of stock above all else.
30 plus horses requiring premium daily care: daily stall cleaning, barn cleaning, feeding/water, pasture turnout, brushing, mowing, trimming trees/brush, fencing, plumbing, equipment maintenance, weed spraying/pulling, facility repairs as needed, feeding and care of horses, cattle and chickens.
This is NOT a riding position; however, riding is available to the right candidate and possibility to have personal horse after 6 months. No dogs or other pets allowed.
References, driver’s license, and background check required. Shared housing available in a large house with private room, Salary negotiated DOE.
