The Lazy T Ranch is a working cattle ranch (not a guest ranch or dude ranch) we run 400 head of cows growing that to about 600 head as we repair and build new fences. We currently have 5 hands on the ranch 2 are going back to school we are looking for 3 more Hands. The ranch is about 20,000 acres we don’t move cattle with machines we only use horses and Dogs. We provide housing and utilities and some but not all meals.
Pay ranges from $1,200 to $2,500 per month depending on experience. If you’re less experienced it’s ok we will teach you.
Must be 18 years old to apply
Animal policy: you can bring one horse (additional horses may be approved after we see how you handle the one you brought)
You may bring one Dog but must be kept outside we don’t allow dogs or pets of any kind in the bunkhouses. (sorry to many bad experiences) keep in mind we use cow dogs so he must be broke or you must be willing to learn how to train your dog. Any dog other than a working dog is discouraged and must be approved.
