Lazy K Bar Ranch
We are looking for a responsible Housekeeper to come work at our ranch in Big Timber, Montana. We are open for full-time or Part-time positions for the months of mid April – end of September. We have several cabins and a lodge that will need to be cleaned weekly. You will work on a variety of tasks such as set up the winterized cabins, weekly deep cleans of the Lodge and other facilities, break down cabins (non-4-season) in the fall and possible kitchen clean up. A schedule will be provided with daily tasks. You must be able to work unattended and manage time appropriately to ensure all of the tasks are completed. You will be working in a very remote location located in Crazy Mountains outside Big Timber MT, where there is little cell service.
- Schedule will be provided for daily tasks.
- Assisting management with tasks when needed
- Must be able to work indoors/outdoors and work in all weather conditions.
- Working conditions require you to walk, sit, stand, kneel, bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.
- Must have a valid Drivers License.
Housekeeping to include:
- Prepare cabin from being winterized
- Prepping cabins/Lodge for guest arrival
- Turning over cabins after guests depart.
- Light linen laundry (most of the linens are sent to dry cleaner)
- Deep Cleaning facilities
- Possible kitchen clean up after guests.
Skills:
- Punctual
- Self Directed and hard working
- Knowledge with the importance of cleanliness.
- Organized and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a remote location with very little cell service (Internet on property)
- Able to work by yourself for long periods time.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Must be able to provide 3 job related references
Full-time employees we offer housing during the months of April-October. We also will grocery shop and purchase food from your grocery list. Employees will use the staff kitchen for meal prep as the cabins DO NOT have kitchens. (WIFI in facility).
Part-Time employees will work approx. 3-4 days a week (days may vary depending on guests) and or be open to being on call as we will need to turn over cabins after guests arrive/depart. We do not offer housing for part-time employees must be able to commute to and from work. (aprox 25 miles outside of Big Timber)
