This position is for a working cattle and hunting ranch located in the Hill Country of Texas.
We are hoping to find a couple or motivated individual who can work without supervision.
The duties include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and caring for our 48 dog kennel
- Feeding and caring for cattle during the winter months
- Feeding and caring for horses 2 days per week
- Driving a tractor
- Grounds maintenance
- Clean up to 250 quail per day 5x per week for 4 months during quail season
- Must be a self starter and show up on time
This position is demanding during our quail season and the candidate will work over 50 hours per week and work 5.5 days a week during that time. The remaining 8 months out of the year this position will have 40 hour work weeks.
Must be able to pass a background check and have no felony record. MUST BE FLEXIBLE! THIS IS A WORKING RANCH, NOT A HOBBY RANCH!
We offer a competitive salary, a nice studio apartment and 1 week paid vacation after the 1st year. The apartment comes with satellite tv, electricity and water.
