North Hunt Creek Ranch
(June-October)
We are looking for dependable, hardworking general help for a private 1,800 acre ranch property. This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who enjoys physical work, working with equipment, and being outside.
Duties may include:
- Cutting and clearing trees
- Sawing down trees and cutting/firewood processing
- Building and repairing trails
- General ranch maintenance – fence fixing, weed spraying
- Assisting with construction projects, including possible barn building
- Miscellaneous labor as needed
Ideal candidate:
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Comfortable with physical labor and outdoor work
- Experience with chainsaws, tractors, tools, or construction is helpful
- Able to work independently and follow directions
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
The property has a large woodworking shop, steel fabrication shop and auto repair shop. Employees have the opportunity to gain experience in the shops, in addition to working on property maintenance.
This opportunity is open nationwide. Out-of-state applicants are welcome.
Compensation:
This is a paid summer position with compensation depending on experience. Range $18-23 per hour. Rustic style housing is included. Housing will include dry camping in an RV or canvas wall tent with access to an indoor shared kitchen and bathhouse with running water. An end of season bonus is available to those who fulfill the full commitment.
