Paradise Guest Ranch is a historic dude ranch nestled in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming at 8,000 feet. For over 100 years, we’ve welcomed guests from around the world to enjoy our stunning location, warm hospitality, and exceptional food. Be aware that working on a Dude Ranch is not easy. The hours can be long and we do require that all of our crew be willing to pitch in where needed. That being said, if you are hired and commit yourself, you will gain a tremendous sense of self-accomplishment and have a lot of FUN at the same time. Please take note that that we do require that you send us a short cover letter about yourself as well as a photo so that we can put a face to a name.
Ranch Maintenance
Some electrical, plumbing, mechanical, irrigation, carpentry and general fix-it knowledge required. Must be organized and capable of keeping good maintenance records. Knows water systems well.
- Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, & electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Repair furniture, window screens, irrigation systems, and other property items
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Spa & Pool Maintenance is welcomed
- Knowledge of driving manual truck for bi-weekly trash runs into town
- Comfortable towing trailers (dump, horse, and heavy equipment)
Season runs from May – Sept 20th.
