5,600 Acre private ranch in NE Wyoming Black Hills in search of Individual or Couple to support ranch projects and operations. Limited commercial property activations expected seasonally – Spring, Summer, and Fall to include: upland bird hunting (Fall), family reunions, small corporate retreats, and hunting groups. Property amenities include: 10 stand sporting clays course, 5-stand shotgun, handgun and 250-yard rifle ranges, equestrian center, ATV trails, hiking trails, warm-water fishing, limited seasonal livestock operations with Cattle and Bison, farm to table gardening & beekeeping.

Desirable ranch management team will be supported by additional staff (full-time and/or seasonal) to fulfill the necessities of the ranch operations.

Compensation: competitive and appropriate to experience and depth of capabilities; plus housing, utilities, paid vacation and negotiable opportunities (ie personal horse boarding)

Employment: Full Time, but can expect three-season seasonality with winter (Dec – Feb) providing the greatest opportunity for extended periods of time off; job will require nights and weekends during prime season (Fall) and during property activations. (Spring, Summer, Fall)

  • Handgun & Rifle experience & course maintenance
  • Archery experience & course maintenance

Gardening, Farming & Landscaping (experience preferred, but not required, desire to learn and support – required):

  • Culinary Garden support
  • Orchard Maintenance support
  • Greenhouse maintenance support
  • Apiary experience (beekeeping)
  • Farming – soil health, planting & management (wildlife habitat, not food crops)
  • Landscaping & grounds maintenance – mowing, weed-eating, weeding, planting, fertilizing, pond health, etc.
  • Irrigation experience a huge plus

Hospitality & Property Management:

  • Guest Relations – experienced in hospitality or willing to learn about providing a high-end experience for property guests; friends, family of owners, and a dozen or so groups per year (we are NOT operating the property as a hotel or B&B)
  • Housekeeping and light maintenance for homes, cabins, and improvements
  • Small group event support
  • –Experience with culinary services, managing event staff a plus, but not required (owner provides extensive experience in hospitality)
  • Provide support to existing on-site equipment and facilities manager
  • –Facilities maintenance
  • –Equipment maintenance
  • –Fencing repairs (the property is already 100% fenced)
  • –Light Construction, repairs, etc.
