We are seeking a dependable, experienced individual to help manage and maintain a 16,000-acre working ranch in Forsyth, Montana. This is a full-time opportunity on a well-established 500 head cow/calf operation with hay production.
Responsibilities:
- Daily care and management of a 500 cow/calf cattle operation
- Feeding, calving, doctoring, and general herd health oversight
- Operating and maintaining farm and ranch equipment
- Hay production, including cutting, baling, and storage
- Fence building and repair
- General ranch maintenance and upkeep (buildings, roads, water systems, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with cattle operations
- Strong knowledge of farm and ranch equipment operation and maintenance
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
