Ranch manager position available for a black angus cattle operation in/around Valentine, NE.
Ranch has been fully improved and includes a new 2300 sq ft home originally built in 2014 for the owner.
All new culverts, 70% of fences are new, all windmills have been replaced with solar wells.
Two 2,000 sq ft shops, one is new, and completely remodeled barn. 3,350 acres and runs 300 hd of cow/calf pairs.
The ranch lies in a continuous 2 mi X 3 mile rectangle with a gravel county road that runs down the middle of it.
1,800 bales are put up on this ranch utilizing 700 acres of land.
Three year old tractors (New Holland) T6.175 and T5 series as well as new holland baler and mower.
This position is perfectly suited for a married person who would be in charge of day to day operations with no permanent help under them. Great schools and very scenic location just north of the Niabrara River and also has tremendous protection from tree belts.
Horses are not provided but needed. Typically 2 horses have been utilized on the ranch.
This position will need to be for a self-starter, organized individual that appreciates not having the owner looking over their shoulder.
Salary: start at minimum $2,800/ month with regular increases or the option of running cows.
