- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ranch equipment, structures, and facilities.
- Maintain fencing, mowing pastures, and ensuring the overall upkeep of the 300 acres +/- property.
- Handle agricultural mechanics, welding, and basic carpentry tasks as needed for ranch improvements and repairs.
- Assist with horsemanship duties, including riding, training, and care of horses.
- Attend to and assist guests with activities such as horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and other ranch experiences; availability for occasional weekend or evening needs is required.
- Monitor ranch security, weather impacts, and implement safety protocols.
- Coordinate with family owners on long-term ranch goals and seasonal activities.

- Proven experience in horsemanship, including riding and horse care.
- Strong knowledge of cattle management, particularly with breeds like Texas Longhorns.
- Proficiency in agricultural mechanics, welding, and some carpentry.
- Expertise in fencing installation and repair.
- Skilled in mowing and land maintenance using tractors and other equipment.
- Comprehensive animal care experience, including health, nutrition, and veterinary basics.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., in welding or agriculture) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently, with physical stamina for outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; CDL is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to safety, sustainability, and ethical animal practices.
Salary: $35,000-$45,000 annually (commensurate with experience), plus benefits including potential housing, utilities, and vehicle use.
