Experience:
- Cattle Ranch Management
- Min. High School diploma.
- Validated Driver’s license.
- Animal husbandry; management, handling, feeding, calving experience with cow/calf operation.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Basic computer knowledge. (Excel, Word)
- Basic knowledge of Invasive weed management.
- Able to problem solve
Duties and Responsibilities:
The type of work will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Working with cattle including handling, feeding, calving etc.
- Ability to work alone or in a team.
- Barbwire fencing repair and maintenance.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment. (Tractors, ATV, Haying equipment, etc)
- Handling irrigation equipment.
- Herd record keeping.
- Flexible to change and willingness to do a good job each day.
- Ability to use chainsaw
- Weed management.
- Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
