A large ranch in rural New Mexico is searching for a new Ranch Manager. We are seeking a single or married individual without dependent children (very rural area, not many options for schools) who has expertise to manage a ranch that encompasses a cow-calf operation of 150 heads of cattle, a horse-training and breeding facility with approximately 50 horses, shooting range/firearms and guest lodge for guests, and more. Ranch is for personal use but does have occasional rental guests.
Advertised Manager shall be paid a salary of $35k-45k per year depending on ability and knowledge but all other needs, including a 3-bedroom well-located and appointed cabin, food and beverage, fuel, and utilities etc. shall be provided by employer.
The Manager we are seeking must have a range of knowledge, not only in one narrow discipline, and should have a wide range of skills including the use of heavy equipment, some small engine/auto repairs, fencing, water systems, etc.
