Looking for motivated individual to assist with breeding operation (40-50
horses). Care and careful monitoring of feed, supplements, property, health
of all animals, transport, haltering foals, light exercise of up to 5 horses, and
foaling out of mares are the main scope of the position.

Ability to administer shots, interface and assist vet, farrier, feed and
shavings associated as well as assist with landscape and or premises are a
minor part of this job seasonally…. Dog or cat care also is or might be a
minor part of job, this is infrequently, if at all.

Normal work schedule – 6 days per week except during foaling season.

Very nice housing provided. Value is $2,000/month (Two bed, two bath, 1
car covered garage available).

1 week paid vacation after 12 months of employment.
2 weeks paid vacation after 36 months of service.

No outside horses on premises. Salary depends on experience. However,
$3,500 per month plus housing (value of housing $2,000/month) is the
package being offered with the below benefits.

Half of health insurance is paid by employer and half of utilities are paid by
employer. Ability to speak Spanish is a bonus but not critical (two additional
employees on site that have been on ranch 10 and 1 years). Please identify
any other skills you might have that could be a benefit to ranch operations
(some of these skills might be ability to operate tractor, rider mower, animal
physical therapy, haltering foals, fixing minor mechanical items, other repair
or handy skills, etc…)
