Full time ranch manager position available on an exotic hunting ranch in Childress County, Texas. 

The candidate for the position:

  • Must be able to follow directions and take instruction
  • Must be comfortable operating and maintaining equipment
  • Must have livestock/animal/exotic experience
  • Must pass background check and drug test as well as provide references. This position is not for you if you smoke.
  • Must be able to tolerate Texas heat and many different weather conditions
  • Must have a passion for ranch life and animals, as well as have a positive attitude 
  • Must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, physical endurance and the ability to work independently 

Responsibilities on the ranch include, but are not limited to:

  • Taking care of animals both in the pasture and in release pens
  • Keeping the farm equipment, machinery and vehicles in good condition 
  • Maintaining the high fence and cattle fencing
  • Communicating effectively with the ranch owner as well as clients and other employees
  • Book/manage/guide hunts and hunters
  • Daily feeding and watering 
  • General ranch work/ handyman work 

Pay is based upon experience.
