A fantastic opportunity exists for a highly motivated Ranch Manager/Working Couple to join the Blue Goose Cattle Company Team. This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate/couple will coordinate a large cow/calf (+/- 1,000 hd) & backgrounding operation in a semi-remote Central BC location (Lillooet area). Responsibilities include: management of all aspects of a working cattle ranch including forage production. Some administrative duties are required.
The qualified applicant must have proven experience in animal husbandry including calving, animal welfare, feeding, range riding, grazing, fencing, irrigation, farming and feed production. Must have the ability to lead and supervise ranch crews, be able to handle livestock calmly and effectively, identify and solve problems proactively, maintain equipment and accept responsibility.

The Blue Goose Cattle Company Ltd. owns and operates a diverse mix of several extensive cow/calf ranches, multiple medium and large grass yearling operations, four breeding heifer locations, as well as hay, haylage, and silage production enterprises in the BC Southern Interior. Approximately 1.5 million acres are currently under the Blue Goose Cattle umbrella.
