Twisted V Ranch
Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with cattle and sheep. Must be able to run tractors, hay equipment and other farm machinery. A working knowledge of how to work show animals is a major plus. We raise Charolais, Mini Hereford, and Wagyu influenced cattle, Texel sheep, commercial goats, and Komondor LGD’s.
Duties:
- Help owners with show quality selection
- Be responsible for the care of Ranch (mow, fix fence, spray, trees, etc…)
- Working the animals (feed, vaccinate, minor veterinary care)
- Showing (proper nutrition, clip, train, etc…)
- Oversee and keep records of the breeding of all animals.
- Oversee and keep records of the birthing of all animals.
- Managing the 2 ranch hands
- Maintenance on all ranch equipment and infrastructure
Schedule:
As the nature of the work requires, schedule will include working nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Schedule must be flexible to address ranch requirements outside of normal operating hours.
Must pass drug test.
Must pass a background check.
Must have a clean driving record.
