Requirements: Must be dependable, honest, hardworking and self-motivating. Have knowledge of cattle & exotic’s. Able to work alone. Have a valid driver’s license & clean driving record. Working ranch truck will be provided to use on the property only.
Duties include: Observe general condition of livestock and apply appropriate care, feeding/watering and maintenance of animals. Examine animals to detect illness/injury/disease; apply or administer medications/vaccines; Operating and maintaining farm equipment; and General pasture maintenance: mowing, repairing and building fence.
General Information: Family owned ranch in South Central Florida. Full time five day work week with some occasional weekend hours. Medical benefit’s available. Background check, references & drug test will be conducted.
