Candidate should have minimum 15 years experience in cow calf ranching operations. Raised on a ranch preferred.
Be able to ride and rope, have knowledge of proper medications for cattle, ability to brand, vaccinate, castrate. Ability to weld, operate equipment and repair equipment. Capable of working on and repairing wind and solar mills.
Must be physically able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions and be flexible with work schedule as this is not a typical 8 to 5 job. Candidate must have the ability to work within budgets while maintaining operating costs.
Maintain accurate records for cattle including maintaining an ear tag tracking system and reporting same to owner on weekly basis. Maintain integrity of pastures and land including caring for trees. Maintaining cleanliness, integrity, appearance and organization of barns and surrounding area.
Keep vehicles and equipment clean and operational. Keep owners residence and managers residence and surroundings at guest ready level at all times.
