Addison Ranch
Addison ranch is family owned and operated. We currently have operations in South Central Oklahoma and North Texas. This position is for the 5000 acre, North Texas Ranch. Our focus is cow/calf with an emphasis on holistic management and mob grazing.
Responsibilities would include: fencing (maintaining existing, electric (temporary and permanent)), cattle condition monitoring, cattle health monitoring and cattle moving based on the condition and health of the cattle. Cattle experience is a plus, but the main characteristics needed are work ethic, honesty, open mindedness, and a desire to work with cattle. No horse, rope or cowboy hat needed simply the desire to work with nature rather than against it.
Position will begin with 6 months of training on the South Central Oklahoma ranch with the possibility of transition to a permanent position on the North Texas ranch based on mutual enthusiasm.
Competitive salary, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house provided along with other benefits if permanent employment is achieved.
