About the Role
Turner Enterprises Management is seeking a Ranch Technician to join Fawn Lake Ranch, a 63,000+ acre working ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills. This hands-on role focuses on regenerative ranching practices, livestock management, and infrastructure development in a remote, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Move and manage livestock using low-stress handling techniques (ATV/UTV, on foot)
- Support grazing management, pasture prep, and feeding programs
- Assist with animal health, vaccinations, and husbandry
- Maintain fencing, water systems, corrals, and ranch infrastructure
- Operate and maintain ranch equipment and vehicles
- Track and report on grazing, feed, and maintenance activities
Qualifications
- 1–2 years livestock or ranching experience
- 1–2 years manual labor experience in outdoor environments
- Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work long, non-traditional hours (including weekends)
- Experience with low-stress handling, grazing systems, or heavy equipment preferred
