Hickory Corner Livestock
Hickory Corner Livestock is a commercial cow calf operation located South of Moose Jaw near Mossbank, SK. We are a 4th generation family owned and operated company that focuses on raising high quality Black Angus cattle. Hickory Corner Livestock is seeking a positive, enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our ranching operation.
Position duties are as follows:
- Diagnosing and treating sick cattle, feeding livestock, processing and vaccinating.
- Assist with calving, tagging, night calving checks and treating young calves.
- Maintain cattle records accordingly.
- Sorting and hauling cattle to various pastures.
- Maintaining fences, corrals and basic infrastructure.
- Assist with haying, silaging, hauling feed and coral cleaning etc.
Applicants attributes and skills may include but are not limited to:
- Positive attitude, hard working, self-motivated, trustworthy and reliable
- Ability to work well within a team setting or perform tasks alone when required.
- Be abler to communicate effectively.
- Experience with handling cattle/calving.
- Class 1A drivers license (asset but not required).
Salary/Wage is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
