Ranch Work, Includes daily chores for chickens, guard dogs, goats.

Setting electric fencing and rotation of cattle in spring summer and fall. Yard work and mowing in season, snow removal in Winter.

Upkeep of barbed fencing on ranch required, Gardening with sharing of produce. Ditch irrigation in meadows with ditch cleaning and dam setting required. Round bales used for winter feeding of livestock with equipment.

A well insulated and cozy small 2 bedroom house is provided with electricity included. The house has a wood burning stove and catalytic heater. Beef is provided, single or couples and well behaved children are welcome.

We have a small cattle herd and Boar goats. Livestock guard dogs tend the goats and daily feeding of the dogs is required. We have chickens to provide fresh eggs. Two horses live on the ranch.

The cattle and ranch is tended to using quads, and a side by side ATV, a skid steer, a hydro-bed truck and a tractor. Some mechanical work may be required. Some welding skill is helpful but not required.

We raise all natural beef, and work to increase grass production on the ranch.

We thrive to be self sustaining in our community and have back-up solar and wind.

Location: 27 miles SW of Wheatland Wyo on paved Hwy 34 in the Sybille Canyon community. Schools and shopping is available in Wheatland. 50 mi. to Laramie, 90 mi. to Cheyenne.

Salary: Start $800/month plus home, electric, beef, garden harvest sharing.
